Celtic Art Zoomorphic Design, Saturday workshop

  • WEA Hunter Laman Street Campus 100 Laman St Cooks Hill, NSW, 2300 Australia (map)

To attend this workshop you will need to have done an earlier workshop on Lattice Knots or Spirals.

Zoomorphic design is the culmination of all five elements of Celtic Art patterns. Zoomorphic design is the method of intertwining ‘living’ motifs such as plants, animals and the human form with other design elements. Both traditional Celtic Zoomorphic designs and contemporary designs will be explored.

You will be guided step by step, using simple proven methods, to create your own designs. The afternoon includes application of colour. If you have attended workshops 1, 2, 3 or 4 you will also learn how to combine multiple elements of Celtic Art into the one design.

This is part five of five Celtic Art workshops.
